1. Your account

Keep your login details safe and your profile details accurate, and contact us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

2. Plans and billing

InGen Free costs nothing and includes up to 2 saved shift types that you can reuse for unlimited calendar entries, along with the shift calendar, income summaries and basic forecasting. InGen Pro is A$4.99 AUD per month and adds unlimited saved shift types, recurring weekday scheduling, CSV export of your shift history, and professional PDF invoice generation.

Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel, and payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel yourself in Settings using the Cancel Subscription option on the InGen Pro card. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account returns to Free. See our Refund Policy for refund questions.

3. Estimates and your responsibilities

Your totals, summaries and forecasts are organisational estimates based on the information you enter. They are not tax, financial, employment or legal advice, and we don't verify or audit your records. You are responsible for your own records, for the invoices you generate, and for any tax or reporting obligations that apply to you — including your own GST registration status.

4. Acceptable use

Please use InGen for your own shift, income and invoicing records. Don't use it for anything unlawful, don't try to access other users' data, don't interfere with the service, and don't use the invoicing tools to create misleading or fraudulent documents. We may suspend an account that is used this way.

5. Your data

The data you enter stays yours. While you have InGen Pro you can export your shift history as CSV from the dashboard. You can delete your account from Settings at any time: this permanently removes your account data and immediately ends any active Pro subscription. We may keep limited records where the law requires it.

6. Our app and our availability

InGen's app, design and branding belong to Nalphex Labs. We work to keep InGen available and working properly, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change as the app develops.

7. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for a claim relating to InGen is limited to the amount you have paid for InGen Pro in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, together with applicable Commonwealth of Australia law. The courts of Victoria are a convenient place to resolve a dispute, but that does not stop you from relying on mandatory consumer protections available where you live.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as InGen develops. When we do, we'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use InGen after that means you accept it.
